I currently work as a Psychologist in the Clinical Health Psychology Department at St Annes Hospital (Haringey). Here i offer assessment and therapy to patients primarily with Medical problems such as Women's Health issues, chronic pain, IBS, epilepsy, etc. People suffering from health problems may for example be struggling with adjusting to a diagnosis, need better strategies for coping with pain, may have anxiety or depression resulting from their health problems or be experiencing loss.I also currently work at Chase Farm hospital (Enfield) in the Psychology and Psychotherapy Department for Learning Difficulties.
I previously worked on a rehabilitation ward for people suffering from enduring and severe mental health problems at Chase Farm Hospital, as part of the Enfield, Barnet and Haringey NHS.
Prior to this i worked as a Psychologist for the Older Adult Psychology Service (Chase Farm Hospital). I saw clients for 1-1 therapy sessions and was also involved in the memory assessment clinic.
Previous to this, i spent several years working within the Primary Care Psychology service as part of the City & Hackney NHS as a Counselling Psychologist in London. My work there involved seeing clients referred by their GP's (for a variety of problems) for individual therapy for a maximum of 6-8 sessions. I was also involved in the delivery of a Chronic Back Pain Management Programme. I also worked for the Primary Psychology Service in the Bedfordshire and Luton NHS. In the past i worked as a forensic Psychologist at Maidstone prison.
I have been working privately for about 8 years. i currently see clients at my home in Welwyn Garden City (Herts).
